Are you eligible for a Medicare rebate?
If your Local Doctor has placed you on a enhanced primary health care plan, there is a good chance that you will qualify to receive Podiatry care and get a rebate back from Medicare! Currently, the out of pocket expense to you is $4.95 for one visit.
Currently the out of pocket expense for Podiatry treatment under this program is $4.95. When you come in for treatment you will need to pay the full fee, however we can directly lodge an online claim to Medicare so that you receive your rebate directly to your bank account within 12 hours. Alternately we can provide you with a receipt for you to take to Medicare to claim yourself.
Patients on a enhanced primary health care plan can receive up to a total of 5 Allied Health treatments per year.
Criteria for being placed on a EPC plan is that you have a chronic health condition. It should be said that it is up to your local doctor to decide if you need to be on a plan, and your local doctors decision whether he would like to refer you under this plan.

The diabetic foot
Just because you have been diagnosed with Diabetes, it doesn't mean you are going to have foot problems!!! But we believe that an annual preventative Podiatry foot health check is one of the smartest things you could ever do for your feet!
In a foot health check we cover the basics, sensory tests, doppler, lesion check, educating regarding correct toenail cutting method and cut your nails if they need. Sensory testing is an effective tool in making sure your feet are in great shape!
Some of our diabetic clients come in every 6-10 weeks, as they need specialised care with their feet.
End of Financial Year 2010
Yes...its our favourite time of the year...where 'paper work' becomes a bit of a nightmare to many!! Check with your accountant for details..but if you spend over a certain allocated threshold within the financial year, you may be eligible to claim certain medical costs. If you cant find all your receipts, just pop in...it will be NO trouble to quickly print you off a statement of your visits and treatments here at our clinic.

We understand that time is valuable to everyone, and we don't want people feeling like they have to wait hours for their appointment. Lets face it..we all know how annoying Doctors surgeries can be sometimes! Here at Campbelltown City Podiatry... we DONT double book and we operate by appointment only to ensure a smooth flowing clinic. If you are going to be late, please ring us to see if we can re arrange your appointment or to see if we can still see you. We love our patients to be relaxed when they come to visit us!
After hours?
This clinic is open every Thursday till 7pm to cater for after hours appointments.
Seasonally, we are open one Saturday per month as per demand.
